The I-39 Logistics Corridor encompasses 10,000 square miles and spans 165 miles from Janesville, WI, on the north to Bloomington, IL, on the south, and 65 miles from Sycamore, IL, on the east to Sterling, IL, on the west. It covers two states and 14 counties including Rock County in Wisconsin and all or portions of the following Illinois counties: Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, Whiteside, Ogle, Lee, DeKalb, LaSalle, Bureau, Marshall, Livingston, Woodford, and McLean.

The I-39 Logistics Corridor is all about proximity, specifically proximity to everything of vital importance to logistics, manufacturing and other companies analyzing site criteria for the Chicago area, which handles more freight than any other city in the country.

UNSURPASSED TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE

• INTERSTATE HIGHWAY - Of the seven major interstate highways
accessible within the corridor, six intersect truck-friendly I-39 including I-80, I-88, I-55, I-90, I-74 and I-43 - all with less congestion.

We also have short lines, Rochelle Dual-Access Railroad and the Iowa, Chicago & Eastern Railroad, and the new Union Pacific Global III Intermodal Facility.

• AIR - In addition to our close proximity to O'Hare and Midway International Airports, there are eight airports within the corridor including the state's second largest airport and the country's fastest-growing airport. We also have a UPS Air Hub and other air-freight carriers.

the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence Seaway, Atlantic Ocean, Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico.
